Intuitive Coach Branding Photos

Claire Chancellor contacted me in Spring 2022 to enquire about branding photography. Her business and brand was well established and she was looking to refresh her existing images.

Claire explained to me that she is a hypnotherapist and intuitive coach and trainer. She wanted her images to convey that she was approachable and professional. It was important that she appear both outcome focused yet also fun. Based on previous photoshoots Claire was very clear that she wanted images taken at eye level as being on the same level of her clients and others is very important to her – she definitely didn’t want shots where she was lower at the camera which would convey subordination.

Claire knew she wanted shots with her crystals, tarot cards and laptops. She had been drawn to images of mine that she’d seen taken at Proserpina Bakehouse in Ferny Creek. We photographed both there and at the nearby Alfred Nicholas Gardens.

Prior to the session I had flagged with Claire that her teal brand colour – which had very blue undertones – may jar with the greens and yellows of the gardens. To manage this I created swatches of Claire’s brand colours and edited with this in mind. I also had Claire come to my home office while I did final tweaks on her chosen images so that I could get them to align with her vision and existing website. This is the final result.
